Yesterday was very special. Our little Yorkie Girl Suzy Q got wed to our marina neighbors’ Pomeranian Black Jack. They had a lovely garden wedding in the gazebo of our friends in Oriental.
The bride wore a beautiful white satin dress with layers of chantilly lace and adorned with seed pearls. She also wore a shoulder length veil embelished with pearls. The groom wore a white cravat, matching white cuffs with gold studs, and a red rose. The two bridesmaids were Sammi and Sofie, long hair chihuahua sisters. They wore pink satin gowns adorned with lace and had matching pink bows on their heads. The best man, Taz, was the younger brother of the groom. He wore a beige bow tie and carried the diamond-studded ring for the bride.
After the ceremony the wedding party and guests dined on wedding cake and pupcakes baked by the bridesmaids parents. The entire wedding was photographed by Ben Casey, a reporter for the Pamlico News. The newly weds honeymooned on their parents’ sailboats. They plan to reside in Cary and Charlotte, NC. The bride is employed as a therapy dog by Cary Speech Services and Love Odyssey Charters. She will be supporting the happy couple.
