We left New Bern at six a.m. this morning heading to Beaufort. It was a beautiful sunrise as our boat slipped under the high rise bridges that span the Neuse River. This morning we had a session with our couple as we motored down the river in a 10-15 knot breeze. In the Intercoastal Waterway a sole dolphin rode our bow wave while we snapped photos.
By noon we were tying the boat up at the public docks in Beaufort. By that time the wind had increased to 20 knots with gusts to 26- wow! Very windy! We ate lunch at the Dock House with our couple who by now we know very well; they are doing so much better. We will have another session with them on the boat later today.
