Hurry Up! Helen 03/31/13

We have been in the boat yard since March 15.  We were “on the hard” for a week while they waxed our hull, changed sacrificial zincs, and painted the prop and bow thruster.  Last Friday we were placed back in the water but at one of their docks because our propane system needed to be up-graded.  The parts that were ordered for the propane locker did not ship this past week so we are still waiting in the water.  This would not normally be such a problem, but we have potentially two Odyssey couples that want to be seen in April.   So we have tried to light a fire under the yard foreman so that our boat gets priority when the parts come in this week and we cross our fingers that Friday we will be able to leave the yard–with or without the new propane locker.  Oh, the joys of owning a boat!…
